FISH IN TRUNKS??
Beijing Olympics is nearly over. I haven’t heard anything from my kababayans, how they fared or if they even got to the qualifying rounds. Most of what I’ve seen on TV are the US teams/athletes. Shempre nasa Sylmar ako eh. Alangan naman they feature Filipino athletes. I only got to see them during the parade. How come professional boxers aren’t qualified to join the Olympics? I think boxing is the only sport that won’t allow professsionals. Bket? E di it defeats the purpose pala of besting the best in this sport? (After some research)… Ah ok. This site answers me: CLICK
I’ve had some favorites so far in this Olympics.

Leryn Franco, coz she’s beautiful. Period.

Shawn Johnson, coz she’s beautiful on the balance beam.

And Michael Phelps, coz he’s beautiful underwater.
(I must have a thing for all things beautiful. Baka naglilihi pa rin
)
Anyway, I don’t really bite all the hoopla about Phelps’ breaking records or him being the greatest olympian in history. I believe every athlete is a great one if he has all the determination & the capacity to change & inspire people to be the best they can be & to push themselves beyond their limits because that’s what humans are capable of. But if medal counts are to be the standard, there are also other athletes that can fare as much, if we consider the sport they’re into, and the era that they excelled it in. Check this: CLICK
Back to Phelps, the only time that I was really in awe of him is whenever he does his roll dive and then that dolphin thing (Haha, lack of jargon. Sorry, I’m not a swimmer, teehee!). Everytime camera angle is under the water & focused on him, I couldn’t help but be in awe… when it captures his every move; his body that slices through the water like a fish. Man, he’s so beautiful! He has one of the most graceful male bodies (asides from kuya Jaime del Prado) that I have ever seen!
But I digress… and digress some more: Kelan kaya makakasama sa Olympics ang Hip Hop Dance? I heard before that the HHI producers had plans of making it to the Olympics… kung makakapagsali pa daw sila ng maraming bansa sa competition. Coz usually (average) 17 pa lang na bansa ang nakakasali sa WHHC every year. So parang underground pa rin sya?! Hay.
Maerap. Someday though… Malamang, by that time, Junior Allstars na ang sasali. LOL

I have a lot of time in my hands. What do I do???? Can’t dance, can’t stand, can’t even walk the distance of 10 shops in the mall without my lowerback aching, can’t even sit still or lie down for hours!!! I am torn between being restless & having to rest. Between keeping still & moving about. Between thinking if I should go home or not. Between moving on & hanging on. Between loving him or stopping it… Oooops hahaha! My mind does a lot of that lately. Pushing in thoughts that shouldn’t be there.
Sometimes it’s tiring when your mind is busy working. Sometimes it’s more tiring to keep your mind from not working.
Thank God for PSP. It sobers up my mind. I think Ratchet can be a welcome companion for the rest of my “waiting” time.
